About

I am a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Department of Statistics & Data Science at UCLA. I work on developing methods for causal inference, focusing on both statistical and computational aspects. I am also interested in using causal inference for trustworthy data science, including fair machine learning, explainability, and algorithmic recourse. My applied interests are in medical data, in particular epidemiological questions of causation and the use of AI tools in intensive care medicine.
